Brittany & Chris 6-16-12 Vista West Ranch

What a cute couple! This was a great party. I could tell this one would be fun at the rehearsal when the groomsmen were crazy from the start. It was a hot Texas day in June at Vista West Ranch. I love this rustic charming venue in the Hill Country. This group had a blast at the photo booth with all the props that were available to use. Tons of dancing went on and everyone had a great time.

Rebecca & James 4-21-12 Laguna Gloria

What a fun couple! I enjoyed working with Rebecca to create such a successful event. The weather was gorgeous for the big day. The guest dinned on the grounds of Laguna Gloria and then had a variety of cupcakes to choose from. Which were delicious! The night continued as everyone danced the night away.

Michelle & William 3-11-12 Laguna Gloria

We all were blessed with a beautiful day for Michelle & William's wedding. The day of the rehearsal was pretty nerve racking with storms throughout the day. We had to rehearse inside at Laguna Gloria, but we made it happen. Sunday was just gorgeous!!! The ceremony was flawless and beautiful. Guests enjoyed the DJ & photo booth that kept the party going into the night. Whole Foods provided a delishous buffet and both bride and grooms cakes for the guests to enjoy. Ben Godkin captured the memories all evening.

Here are a few photos I took with my iPhone, not the greatest quality. More to come soon!

Shannon & Carlos 10-22-11 The Vineyards at Chapel Lodge

This was one wild wedding! Shannon & Carlos had a wedding to remember. The ceremony was under a beautiful oak tree with a chandelier hanging exactly in the center of it all. The guests were greeted with cold drinks on the beautifully decorated patio. Once the wedding party was photographed by Mary Sledd it was time to start the party. The Jeff Botta Band provided the best tunes for dancing all night. Chisholm Trail Icehouse BBQ created a nice buffet for the guest to enjoy with all the fixings you can dream of. This crew was not ready to leave they were having so much fun! All in all the evening was so much fun. Pictures to come.

The Vineyards at Chapel Lodge is beautiful and Kristy (Manager) is great to work with!

Kristine & Danny 5-7-11 Private Residence on Lake Austin

I have a great time with Kristine & Danny throughout the planning process and on their big day! The weather was perfect, slightly warm but beautiful. The guests arrived to the outdoor ceremony area that was right on Lake Austin, gorgeous! Then Austin Catering provide bar service and appetizers for the cocktail hour. Meanwhile, Jeff captured the wedding party and family pictures. The Newsboyz then entertained the guests and dinner was served. All in all the wedding was a success. The guests danced the night away and sent the Bride and Groom off with sparklers. I'm excited to see the professional pictures, but I have includes a couple that I was able to take with my iPhone. Enjoy!

May 2010 Wedding featured in BRIDES magazine

A wedding I provided coordinating services for in May 2010 at Three Points Ranch is featured in BRIDES magazine. I am so excited to see this article. The pictures are amazing and bring out the awesome designs the bride did on her own. Take a look at the pictures below or go out and get the magazine to see more details.

Letter from Bride - Ashley Smith

Hiring Kristin Shrimplin as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions I made when planning our wedding. I only wish that I would have hired Kristin earlier! My husband and I were planning a semi-formal wedding for 300 guests in downtown Austin on a fairly tight budget. Needless to say, we had plenty of challenges that we needed Kristin’s help with. I hired Kristin for only “day-of” services, but she went above and beyond what I paid her for. When I was panicking over the wording of my invitations I sent them to Kristin to proofread for me. She calmed my nerves and assured me that the invitations were fine. She helped me revise the table layout from our catering company to ensure that all of our guests would be able to move freely. Kristin developed a timeline for our reception down to the minute. She made sure that all of our vendors stuck to this timeline so that everything was absolutely perfect by the time our guests arrived. She helped me organize all of my vendors’ information and emailed me reminders to make sure that I had gotten all my vendors hired. On our actual wedding day Kristin set up all of my centerpieces for thirty guest tables, arranged our guest favors, and displayed photos of our family. She kept track of all of the vendors and made sure that my husband and I had plenty to eat and drink the entire evening. My husband and I never had to look at a clock since Kristin was there to keep us on schedule the entire evening. Not only is Kristin great at planning and organizing, but she can also handle those unforeseen problems. When our six tier cake started to lean, Kristin calmly told my husband and me that it was time to cut the cake, never letting us know that there was nearly a “cake disaster”. I didn’t even notice that the cake was minutes from falling over until I looked at the pictures weeks later!

Kristin was a pleasure to work with. Not only is she phenomenal at managing all of the details of a wedding, but she’s a great person to have on your side during the stress of wedding planning. Kristin was more than willing to listen as I vented about everything from family issues to what flavor of cake I should pick. Kristin kept me calm and collected on the most important day of my life. You simply can’t put a price on that kind of comfort. Knowing that Kristin was there to keep my wedding day running smoothly was priceless.
